Also, semi-new artist EMA releases her album Past Life Martyred Saints. Driven by the success of her single The Grey Ship, EMA’s strongest trait is her lyrics and the album is an emotional ride that is both “magical and heartbreaking”.
In Rock, Augustana brings us their third full length album Augustana. Opening up at the number 29 spot on Billboard Top 200 Albums, Augustana rediscovers their musical identity and brings us an album full of strong material. On The Other Side is said to be a dark, breakout track of the album. Band Rukkus begs to Let’s Get Da Party Started and playing this album is a good way to kick it off. Filled with 14 uplifting songs that will definitely get people rocking out, the album is a soundtrack of good times.
